Thee Extensions

Finally got a chance to upload two shots of my hair. I went from a not quite chin length [Rachel Leigh Cook in Josie & The Pussycats] piecy winged razored shag-bob sort of `do to tresses reaching teh bewbiez. lol. Major change for me. Not too heavy though, and not itchy. I am still getting used to it swinging around. I washed em last night. I was worried for nothin'. They actually lay better. Combing them out was a bitch though!
Roman Fingers and Wunderlust Hands
I went on a lil movie buying spree here this morning. Some of them were cheaper than those @ Amazon. I ordered three from the Phantasm trilogy, a couple of the Hellraiser series, Serpent & the Rainbow and Rush. I had them shipped to Boyfriend for a nice surprise. I still can't believe he's NEVER seen any of the Friday The 13th or Nightmare on Elm Street films! I should get those too; they're classics! I'd also like to have an oldie called The Hand. Hmmm. I'm still looking for one of my favourite porno flix, War Whores lol. It has Stephanie Swift and Tricia Devereaux (sp?) *yippee*. I found it for about $30 but I ain't coo' wit dat price, yo.
I attempted to set up my webcam last night using this program which is pretty kosher and got as far as publishing the image to my site, but something is keeping it from displaying. I can see it sitting all comfy like in the directory, but it won't show on the page! *grumbles* I messed with it for an hour or two before I got too frustrated. Maybe I'll try another program. Or maybe I will say to hell with it!
This evening is supposed to be my traditional weekly get together and have thirty cent wings @ BW3 whilst playing trivia with my pal MP. But, I gotta stop by the salon and get one more weft added to my extensions because I have some loose hair that isn't blending very well. My Mary will fix that right up! I have some before & after shots (other than this teeny icon) to post as soon as I get a free moment at home. I still haven't washed them. I'm way apprehensive about it, but it's gotta be done this week. Any tips?

10. On a scale of 1-10 how interesting do you think your own journal is to others? Middle of the road, but it varies. I hope to do more with it now that I have a better computer at home where I can write privately instead of at work.

I'm liking it. There's actually some personal philosophical meaning behind it for me. I tend to put things in black and white terms [ie are or aren't, is or isn't] when there are always shades of grey. Ha, there's another design idea… “Shades Of Grey” featuring all gaudy neon colours and absolutely no black or white. Har, har! I know, I know… I'm a nut. Ciao for now!

My new computer is all set up! I had to buy a new monitor off a pal though because my old one was just that- old, too old to be compatible, heh. Sad. I also got sicky last night from what I believe to be bad fast food. I felt ok this morning, so here I sit at work blah blah blahing. Boyfriend needs to spend quality time with his daughter tonite. So… my plans for the evening? Put on too much makeup, take pics, setup live streaming webcam, apply to portals, play with lj, and catch up on sleep. Fun, fun, fun! The cam is so crystal clear it creeps me out because I can see every little imperfection on my face. Yikes. But I don't think I'm necessarily in danger of becoming a so-called “Camwhore” because I don't have a site (just this journal and most entries are friends only anyway) for which I'd want hits. You may, however, catch me live in the shower sometime *snicker* afterall, I do have a clear shower curtain ;)
Footnote: Uh-oh. Someones daughter is trying to sell Girl Scout Cookies to our office! *tightens purse strings* Yummity yum yum!

Alright, if you haven't seen this before, it is worth exploring entirely. My sides hurt everytime I think of it. It simply has to be a spoof! It is just *too* funny! Rawk!
Ok, now, I must confess I am not much of a sports fan (excluding English Soccer er *cough* football, and Gymnastics), but I liked Jim Mora. Who the hell is he? Well, he WAS the Indianapolis Colts coach. *scowl* WAS. They fired him. The team was plagued with injuries and someone had to be blamed. He has always been a controversial dude. He tells it like it is. If the team was sucking, he said they were sucking. If they played a shitty game, those were his exact words. I will miss his no nonsense style!
I'm feeling bitchy today. No explaination for it really. Not pms, not anything stressing me. I just wanna break things. My computer has been delivered and Boyfriend is bringing it by this evening, so I should cheer up. It doesn't come with an operating system installed, but I can easily put one on myself if I at least get a DOS prompt. If I don't, I will be throwing things. Cyn is putting together a new layout for me, so that's something to look forward to. [out]
Who's that girl?
The extensions are in! They are not heavy at all! I went from about chin length to just below my breasts. I kept my bangs out, and the topmost layer is my own hair too [to cover the wefts.] I'll probably get a chance to take pics this weekend. *braces for the Elvira/Vampira comments* I spent $60 on hair and $200 for services. Not bad. I am really happy with them. They look surprisingly natural (though I'll have to get used to it swinging around)… I'm glad I went with my own hair colour for once.
We always want what we don't have though. Have you noticed that? We want long hair if ours is short, we want blond if ours is black, straight if ours is curly, and so on and so on… I, like so very many others, adore reds. Bummer that they are the most rare in nature. But I see how many people are dying their hair black every few weeks. They covet what I have naturally lol. I don't say that to be catty, but because it makes me feel good. No shame in that!
I couldn't find an eyebrow pencil this morning so I used a regular lead pencil, heh. It actually worked! Hope I don't die before the end of the day!
P.S. The sex shop is having a 2 for 1 video sale a week after I spent $70 on pr0n. I see how it is, biotches. ARGH!
