Ah-ha! This has turned in to the best day EVER (or at least since the last time I said it was the best day ever hehe). I got my autographed Guided By Voices advance cd. It is signed “Love, Robert Pollard.” Have I ever mentoned this man is the effing greatest? Do I need to? *luff, lurve, love, luv*
Not bad, for a Monday.
I'm not starting off the week in a foul mood *gasp* I hadn't realized how much the temperature effects my demeanor. Friday was gorgeous… 70 degrees sunny, slight breeze- PERFECT, and then Saturday brought snow! WTF?! Today is almost tolerable though. Tomorrow should be back to beautiful again, making me bouncy, optimistic, and witty (let's hope). I love coming home from the office when the sun is still up, raising the blinds, pushing open the windows, cranking up some tunes (lately it's been gbv) and just relaxing, maybe with a glass of wine. Ahhh.
My wrist is doing some strange aching sort of thing at the moment. Pressing directly on it as hard as I can makes it feel better, but that sure tires my fingers. I'm not too worried. It's done this before, and it eventually just goes away.
Oh, I DID make Camwhores on Saturday evening, so mucho thx to those who helped get me there *muwah* For the most part, people have been nice, and it is, thus far, a good experience! I also made new lj icons from some of my choice stills. I really should get something up on my domain tonite. Hope all is well with all ya'll *in my best southern drawl*

Doofus that I am, I forgot to mention the name I decided on for my domain- istigkeit.net, which is a German philosophical term meaning “is-ness” or the act of existance, the state of being… you get thee picture. Luminaries such as Eckhart, Huxley, and Jung wrote about the concept, and it really struck a chord with me. I am sooo deep *snicker* you'd never know it with all my nekkidness on cam… which reminds me… I don't make it a habit to ask for votes, BUT geepers, I am sooo close to moving to the main page over at Stiles portal… if you're feeling like the helpful sort that I know you are ;) (and aren't offended by pr0n) click here and give me a + vote. I'd rather be playing in the sunshine right now, sketching ideas for my site concept. But alas, I'm stuck at my desk telling clients that the space in their usernames is from hitting the spacebar, not typing in the word s-p-a-c-e spelled out, or that the browser window went away because they clicked on the cute little X in the corner. Heh.

Like you noticed, but I didn't update yesterday *gasp* I had a life. Well, ok, not exactly, but I did do something somewhat exciting… I gots me a domain! *sqeals with delight* Remember how YOU felt when you first got YOURS? “Omg, omg, omg… WHAT am I going to DO with it?!” I know I'm going with some sort of personal oriented site where I can keep both my cams, bio, journal, piccies and all than nonsense. The lovely and talented Cyn has always been thee big help with my schtuff, and I DO want to indulge in her helpful goodness again, and hopefully I can enlist the mad creative skills of lovlies like Jessicka, Jai, Rashelle, Emma and Car0l for something too (dunno what). I bet you gals never knew how much you rock my socks (and shoes too- lol), eh? I am probably forgetting someone valuable though… if you'd like to pitch in, please let me know. I like a clean, stripped down look, but I don't have anything conceptualized yet. Heh, I'd better wipe this goofy grin off my face and get some work done before the boss gets in… but I don't wanna *pouts* I wanna play with my site. Whine, whine, whine ;) at least it is a beeyooteeful day to boot!
Just Another Manic Monday

Feh, my isp sent me a nasty-gram, er, kinda. They show during Feb. my member webspace received 75% more hits than the 750 we're allowed per month. *cough* You do the math. (Rawr, I knew I should have added a counter to my page.) So… if I exceed a certain number (which I cannot recall at the moment) this month, they will shut the site down for an entire month. Gah! But, the only thing I keep there is my pg-13 webcam. I removed the link to it from my journal for now *sigh* and hopefully, will not have to remove myself from any portals this month. The more risque cam is graciously hosted @ cynica.org, so it's safe. (Which reminds me, it's a bummer that my wanna be camwhores votes reset when I had only 88 more to go *pouts*) Other than that, it was a fair weekend, though I have some minor bumps and bruises from hauling gear Saturday. I had a blast poking fun at the bands rock-n-roll faces, which are more like constipated expressions. Lol. Boyfriend bought a new Danelectro, and a compressor and reverb pedals- all for a mere $125! The geetar plays wonderfully. Although I haven't played in years, at that price, I just might go get one for myself this week \m/

1. What's your favorite vacation spot?
I lived in Las Vegas, Nv and Weiden, Germany for awhile. Those were the best days of my life! I've been promising myself I'll go back for a visit someday. Now that I am old enough to truly imbibe in all the debauchery they have to offer, it's even more appealing.
2. Where do you consider to be the biggest hell-hole on earth?
Religious affiliated colleges in small towns in the bible belt
3. What would be your dream vacation?
I would love to go to Haiti, but, sadly, it is not safe- especially for a white american.
4. If you could go on a road-trip with anyone, who would it be and why?
The Rastabilly Rebels- one of Boyfriend's bands. They are all such great guys, they make me laugh until I pee, and are the kindest wisest men I've ever met.
5. What are your plans for this weekend?
Boyfriend has a free night tonite! Most all the members of his bands are multi-tasking, and one of them plays with another band tonite, so we might take that in to support for him. They both have a show tomorrow together, so that's a definite. I'm excited to see a certain soundmans wife ;)~
